Patricia Ann Sluiter

Patricia A. Sluiter, 84, of Rockford was called by her heavenly Father on Friday, April 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.  

She was born November 3, 1941, to the late Anthony and Florence Domanski.  She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years John Calvin Sluiter, brothers; Anthony, David (Catherine) Domanski. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons; John (Janet) Sluiter, Jeffrey (Carmen) Sluiter, daughter; Paula (Ann) Bixler, grandchildren; Alison & Emma Sluiter, Mason Castro, Carson Sluiter, Rowan, Ayden & Sophia Bixler. Also surviving is Patricia’s sister-in-law, Barbara Domanski and several nieces and nephews.

Pat worked for over 40 years at Meijer.  She loved her family, traveling, camping and going to the casino with Rick and Judy. 

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Burial will be held at Plainfield Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, April 29 from 5-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Make a Wish Foundation of Michigan.
