Allen Veurink

Allen J. Veurink, age 90, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Allen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 66 years, Marjorie Veurink; daughter-in-law, Holly Veurink; son-in-law, Gordon Snip; and grandson, Adam Veurink. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lois Veurink; children, Sheryl and Dave Balicki, Dennis and Marie Veurink, Jan Snip, Doug and Sandy Veurink, Kathy and Craig Elenbaas, Chris and Jeff Snedeker; grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Stephen, Bethany, David, Joshua, Elizabeth, Jordan, Alicia, Ryan, Eric, Staci, Amber, Azandra, Jevan, Jared, Kaelyn, Parker, Taylor, Sidney, Madison, Brendon, Amilcar, and Kimberly; many great-grandchildren; brother Bob and Gloria Veurink; sister, Joyce and Fred Hoekzema; sister-in-law, Ruth Dykgraaf; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone United Reformed Church, 6442 36th Ave., Hudsonville. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, September 19, from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
