Alice Stanley

Alice J. Stanley, age 79, of Kentwood, MI, went to be with her Lord on August 10, 2016. Alice is survived by her children William Jr. and Robin Stanley, David Stanley, Lori Stanley and Terry Korby; beloved daughter-in-law Kathleen Stanley; grandchildren Joshua Stanley, Katie and Dan Newsted, David Stanley II, Hannah Stanley; and her children’s father, William Stanley Sr.; and by her dog “love on four legs” Nebbie. Alice attended grammar school in Minetto, NY, Oswego High School in Oswego, NY, and State University of New York at Oswego. She was a beloved teacher at Brookwood Elementary with Kentwood Public Schools for over 30 years. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel at Samaritas, 2000 32^nd Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.
