Alice Petrlich

Alice Mary Petrlich, age 84, of Kentwood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul; granddaughter, Kyle Petrlich; brothers, George Emerick, Dave Emerick, John Emerick; sister-in-law, Chris Emerick; and brother-in-law, Bernard Kapuscinski. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marie and Dave Schultz, Karen Kahl, Joan and Barney Nefcy, Paul J. Petrlich, Patrick and Amy Petrlich; grandchildren, Katie and Jacob Sanders, Hannah Schultz, Heather and Patrick Bishop, Ronnie and Jenny Kahl, Justin Kahl, Shane Kahl, Patrick Nefcy and Laura Martinez, Megan Nefcy and fiancé Joey Russel, Max Petrlich and fiancée Vanna Grace, Nicholas Petrlich, Kira Petrlich, Griffin and Natalie Petrlich, Mitchell Petrlich; great-grandchildren, Lainey Kahl, Kyle Sanders, Hailey Sanders, Teddy Bishop, Lily Bishop; brother, Joseph and Gerry Emerick; sister, Ann Kapuscinski; sister-in-law, Nancy Emerick; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd St. SE, Kentwood, with Fr. Peter Vu presiding. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 23, from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
