Alberta Kaiser, aged 91 of Wyoming, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, October 21, 2019 and is now dancing with Larry. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of 71 years, Larry Kaiser, just 10 months ago; parents, Ellsworth and Sarah Bayle; sister, Lucille Levandowski; 3 infant grandchildren, Alan, Elizabeth and Jamieson. Bert is survived by her children: Mary DeWitt, Diane and Mike Miller, Patricia and Dr. Lee Frederickson, Gregory and Cheryl Kaiser, Margaret and Tom Frens; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty Mikesell, Donna Thieme, Marcelene Dumond, Ed and Karen Sytsma, Glenna Roberts, Marvin and Donna Kaiser; many nieces and nephews; and dear friend Celia Krutel-Pyard. Alberta loved to dance (that’s what brought her and Larry together), volunteering on the Home and School Board at St. John Vianney, traveling with Larry, and entertaining. She was an amazing cook who taught us all how to make Waldorf Salad and her family’s favorite, Astoria Red Velvet cake back in the late 60’s before it became cool. Having family gatherings and decorating for the holidays was a joy of hers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Fr. John Vallier presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. A Rosary Service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
