Adrian Kaashoek

Adrian Kaashoek, age 94, formerly of Grandville, a faithful disciple of Christ, was welcomed to the Church Triumphant on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late John and Alida (Einink) Kaashoek. Adrian was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 65 years, Charlotte (Ribbens) Kaashoek; great-granddaughter; three sisters; and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sharon and Dale Rietberg, John and Karen Kaashoek, Anne and Gordon Van Singel, Beth and James Postema; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews and several dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Raybrook Manor Chapel, 2121 Raybrook St. SE, Grand Rapids with Rev. John Witvliet officiating. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, March 26 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and on Friday from 1:30-2:30 pm at Raybrook prior to the service.
