Keith Duane Smith

Keith Duane Smith, age 84, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 61 years, Anita; children: Donald (Nita) Smith, Clayton (Elizabeth) Smith, Jane (Wes) Ackerman; grandchildren: Amber Smith, Dan Chittenden, Rianne Chittenden, Jordan Smith, Collin Smith, Jessalyn Smith; special cousin, Jeannie Smith; many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Letha Smith.  Keith proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He retired from G.M. after 30 years and was a life member of the Grand Valley Cap “N” Ballers Muzzle Loading Gun Club.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. John Stradtner officiating.  Interment Salem Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.  The family wishes to express their gratitude to the 4th floor staff at U of M Metro Hospital.
