It pleased the Lord to take unto himself, Vernon Klamer, age 84, on Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Vern worked as a celery farmer and learned the value of hard work. Vern cherished time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A private burial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday at Winchester Cemetery with Rev. James Slopsema officiating. The graveside service will be livestreamed. A special thanks to the staff of Trillium Woods Hospice.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Covenant Christian High School.

because he trusted in thee.  Trust ye in the Lord forever,
for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.”  Isaiah 26: 3-4

Deepest sympathy to Vernon's family. Worked many years with Vern in the celery . Regret losing contact over the past years as our lives diverged. A fine man who taught me the value of hard work, discipline and loyalty.

Though it's hard to sever earthly ties, we can rejoice that the Lord has called one of his own home and he now rests peacefully in the arms of Jesus, free of sin and pain. You are all in our prayers. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15 KJV
