Todd Robert Hand

Todd Robert Hand, age 61, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 5, 2020, after a courageous 16-year fight with cancer.  Todd was a loyal and dedicated Michigan State fan as well as an alumnus.  He was a faithful employee at Pfeiffer Lincoln, Inc. where he enjoyed his work and friends.  He also enjoyed time outside, hiking, biking, traveling, and washing and detailing his car.  He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Edward Wloszek. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Diane Hand; his parents, Robert and Mary Hand; twin brother, Thomas and Deb Hand; brothers, David and Cheryl Hand, Robert and Kristen Hand; mother-in-law, Dorothy Wloszek; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edward and Jean Wloszek, Geri and James Musial, James and Mary Wloszek, William Wloszek, Carol and Rob Welsch, Donald and Eileen Wloszek.  He was an amazing uncle who shared his passion for MSU with his many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Chris Hall officiating.  Interment will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, January 10, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Spectrum Health Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion or the American Cancer Society.

Although many miles have kept us apart for these later years, I have very happy memories of Sunday dinners at Grandpa and Grandma Wyma’s, and birthday parties and Christmas celebrations with my cousins!
