Timothy C. Lamoreaux, age 65, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly  on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. Tim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked in generalized construction for over 40 years. He loved to fish, spend time with friends, but most importantly with his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents; Fran and Clarence Lamoreaux; brother-in-law Bruce Roelofs; step-mother; Dorrys Lamoreaux. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 29 years, Susan; children, Mike Risher, Amy and Kyle Jeltema, Christy and Tyler Zbikowski; grandchildren, Caden, Keegan, Katlynn, Ryley, Abbi, and a baby girl on the way; mother and father-in-law,  Rosemarie and Wendell Cooper; sisters, Jean and John Wood, Donna Roelofs; sister-in-law Cyndy Cooper; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog; Ally. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville,  with Pastor Floyd Lamoreaux and Gerald Fowler officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Kayge Fighters Against DIPG Foundation.

Tim, a friend of my childhood and youth. He was a dear friend and will be missed. I finally recall time spent together together with his family on Cottonwood, Sunday afternoons, remember it was a different time then… He was encouragement and always a good friend.
