Steven F. Saucier, 34, of Caledonia, MI, born on October 29, 1985, passed away unexpectedly at his home November 24, 2019.  Words cannot begin to describe the impact Steven has made in his time with us. Those who knew Steven will forever remember him for being larger than life and how he brought an easiness to achieve the most impossible of dreams. People were drawn to Steve’s joyful personality, a love for life and, one of a kind, friendly smile and southern charm that pulled everyone in.
Being blessed with many skills and talents, he was confident and fearless, accepting any challenge that came his way. Those qualities are what led Steven to a successful career in Construction Management after getting his degree at The University of Southern Mississippi in 2010.  Steven’s work allowed him to build in various areas of the country, leading him and his wife to call Western Michigan their home.
Steven was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend. Anyone who was blessed to know Steven and his wife, would attest that they were the epitome of soulmates and the perfect team. Steven was a legendary underdog who, through passion and drive, came out on top and fulfilled his dreams. If only we could face each day like he did, seizing it for the opportunities it brought him and refusing to settle for anything short of what he felt he and his family deserved.  Steven is irreplaceable and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Steven was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Bond; his paternal grandparents, Ancel and Mary Faye Saucier and step-father, Michael Sanders. He is survived by his spouse, Megan Saucier of Caledonia, MI; mother, Edith Sanders of Vancleave, MS; father, Robert Alan Saucier of Perkinston, MS; brother, Trevor Saucier (Moriah) of Wiggins; sister, Salena Sanders of Vancleave, MS; grandmother, Eva Bond of Ramsey Springs, MS; brother-in-law, Kyle Gabriel of Canal Fulton, OH; mother-in-law, Debbie Gabriel of Doylestown, OH and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
All are welcome to a celebration of life being held Saturday, November 30, 2019 at MKD Funeral Home 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE Kentwood, MI; family and friends gathering 1-2pm, memorial service 2-3pm.  Mississippi memorial services will be held December 7, 2019 at Silver Run Baptist Church, Poplarville, MS; family and friends gathering 10-11am, memorial service 11am-12pm.
