What a beautiful picture of Uncle Stan-his personality really shines through. How lucky we all were to have him for 96 good years. My mom Rita looked forward to her younger brother Stanley, Aunt Lou & many times the entire family making the trek home for reunions etc. So sorry we were unable to attend the funeral. Aunt Lou, I know your large close-knit family & the great memories of Uncle Stan will see you through the harder days ahead.

First off, my condolences to the family, some of whom I barely know unfortunately because of distance. It's hard to know what to say at times like these and I'm quite certain most people feel the same. I know that 96 years and married for 71 is an amazing life but that doesn't make it any easier. My grandma once told me that she found it ironic that her brother Stan was the one that moved away because he was the biggest homebody of them all. I suppose he just brought the spirit of Maidstone with him and he now has a number of American Maidstonites to carry on his legacy! Simply put, he was just a really really good person and was loved by everyone that was lucky enough to know him.

Aunt Lou, Mike, Pat, Deb, Dar, Tom, Chris and families, our deepest sympathies.
Uncle Stan was certainly a special person , for sure.
Always ready with a smile, hand shake and a short little story.
There have been many ditties sang over the years but 1 will always be secure in our memory of Uncle Stan.
Writing and reading this will not have near the impact of listening and watching him sing-
" Kahns clothes, they're good clothes, they're neat and niftyyyyy. And when you buy 1 suit you get 1 for freeeeee"
We have no idea how to spell his famous Rooster call, but he did it well
God bless you.

It has been a long, long time but I can still remember the day your family moved next door to us in IONIA when you moved from CANADA. I think I was climbing the big maple tree between our yards. So sorry for your loss. God Bless your family.

I have many wonderful memories of my neighbor Mr McGuire, I can envision him sitting in his garage when I passed the house on 42nd St, that always made me smile! And his green truck sitting out front we fondly called the “Stanley truck” , and of course the periodic semi parked along the street as I was growing up! Please accept my condolences, he was a wonderful man and a dear friend to my parents and will truly be missed! Sending my love to your family!

Aunt Lou and family. You have our deepest of sympathy. COVID can prevent us from being with you at this time to share hugs, some stories and some tears. It can not rob us of any, no not one, of the precious memories that Uncle Stan has left for us.
May God grant you some form of comfort as you mourn Uncle Stan's passing.
