Sophie Hindenach, age 94, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael and Luanne Hindenach, Linda and Edward Milanowski, Mary Blair, Bill and Kerri Hindenach, Julie and Jim Honeycutt; grandchildren, Anne and Jason Palmitier, Laura and Shaun Skibinski, Emily and Kyle Teeples, Steven Milanowski and Jamie Fortney, David and Alli Milanowski, Joseph Blair and Heather Adams, Thomas Blair, Sarah and Tony Bennett, Kevin and Christopher Hindenach, Benjamin and Carlie Honeycutt, Caroline, Hannah and Natalie Honeycutt; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Walter Lysiak, John Lysiak; sister, Marion Yaros, brother-in-law, Nick Thull; many, many nieces and nephews. Sophie was an independent woman who took care of herself and was proud of her physical mobility. She and George were charter members of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and she was a loyal member of the Altar Society. Sophie was a faith filled woman who passed her love of God and church on to her family. She loved her family and made each of her grandchildren feel special and uniquely loved. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday 11 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, with Fr. Steve Geerling presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, from 2- 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Wyoming) 4031 Clyde Park SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Vianney Educational Foundation.
