Michael Damon

After battling mental illness for over 38 years, Michael Neil Damon, age 73, entered into the arms of Jesus Christ and the rest of Almighty God on Thursday, September 10, 2020.  Michael bravely served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Martha Damon.  He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings: Jim Damon, Jon Damon, Janet (Ken) Damon Beiser, Todd (Sherry) Damon, Martin Damon, Jennifer (Scott) Damon Clark; nieces and nephews: Sara (Josh) Basman, Jamie (Jay) Meyers, Stacey (Mark) Besteman,  Kelly Beiser, Casey Beiser, Erin Damon, Hannah (Jeremy) Stein, Adam Damon, Bradley Boven, Sarah Damon.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Jerry Neumair officiating. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mel Trotter Ministries.
