Louise M. Smith

Louise M. Smith, age 99, of Kentwood, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 21, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son-in-law, Robert Brown; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Smith and Lena Smith.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christine Brown, Gary Smith, Bruce Smith; grandson, Robert Brown; many nieces and nephews. Louise loved sitting on the porch at the cottage enjoying the beauty of nature including the deer, squirrels, birds, and especially the beautiful sunshine.  She was a gracious loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to cook for her family and guests and was considered a great cook. At Louise’s request, cremation has taken place. Her cremated remains will be interred next to her husband, Harold, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American House.  The family would like to thank American House for the loving care that Louise received.
