Louise J. Ophoff, age 90, of Grand Rapids, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 21, 2020 with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; sister, Berniece Reitema, Helen Mellema; sister-in-law, Irma Wychers; brothers-in-law, Donald Mellema, and Robert Reitema. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Steven and Karen Ophoff, Rosanne and Bruce VanSolkema, John and Patricia Ophoff, 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce and Dan VanderLaan; brother, Alvin and Kay Wychers; sister-in-law, Catherine Ophoff; brother-in-law, Edward Ophoff. Private services will be held at Garfield Park Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Covenant Christian High School.
