Leonard G. Steensma, age 91, of Kentwood, went to be with his Savior on Sunday, March 29, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Steensma.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 70 years, Bertha; children, Kathy (Ken) Schaaf, Roger (Beth) Steensma, Jane (Tom) Lannon, Sarah (Dan) Kuiper, Susan (Dave) Geschiere; grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Schaaf, Darren (Cheri) Schaaf, Evan (Richel) Steensma, Claire (Jordan) Diekema, Allison (Michael) Wilcher, Jacob (Chelsea) Lannon, Sam Lannon, Seth Kuiper, Maria Kuiper, Elise Kuiper, Angela Kuiper, Dean Geschiere, Eric Geschiere, Eve Geschiere, Renee Geschiere; 7 great grandchildren;  brother, Peter Steensma; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Eleanor Elenbaas, Bert Boersma, Ann Boersma, Loekie Boersma, Harry (Helen) Boersma, Grace Harper, Barb Boersma, Ben (Cleo) Boersma, Anne (Ron) Ezinga; and many nieces and nephews.  Private family graveside services were held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Many memories of my Uncle up at the Lake. Also the time we visited Grand Rapids and spent time with all the Uncles and Aunts before they passed. Truly enjoyed our trip.
