Mr. Ferguson was an amazing teacher and left some really big shoes to fill when he retired. Not many boys took typing in 1976 but I'm so glad that I did. Little did anyone back then know how important it would become when computers became commonplace. Thank you Mr. Ferguson

I loved having Mr. Ferguson for typing in high school, and think often about his directive to be sure we were on the "home row". He was very talented and my sister Mary Weaver and I were thankful for his coordinating of the choir events at Peace Reformed Church for many, many years. My Mother, Helen Near, spoke often about the fun she and Larry had traveling to and from WMU when they were working on teaching degrees. My thoughts and prayers go to Marge and the family. Larry is now singing in God's choir in heaven, along with my Mother and Dad. Rest in peace, Larry.
