Joann Klomp

Joann Delores Klomp, age 80, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 25, 2019.   She was preceded in death by her grandson, Bradley Grit.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 62 years, Evert; children, Donna and Roger Grit, Diane and John Flikkema, Evert Jr. and Mary Klomp, Edward Klomp, David and Shanda Klomp; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy and John Nassenstein; brother, Robert Smit; sister-in-law, Sharon Smit; brother-in-law, Richard and Alice Klomp; nieces, and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 11 am at Ivanrest Church, 3777 Ivanrest Ave SW, Grandville, with Rev. Jay Pruim officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Visiting Angels of GR, Grand Village Assisted Living, or Byron Center Christian School.
