I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Frank. I know that he will be deeply missed by people who were close with him and who knew him. I would like to share some reassuring thoughts from God’s word the Bible. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says, “For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward, because all memory of them is forgotten.” This scripture shows us that the ones who have died are unconscious. So they can’t feel anything that's going on around them. It can be comforting to know that they are not suffering. Acts 24:15 reads, “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous.” This scripture shows us that there will be a resurrection, so we have the hope to see our loved ones again. Revelation 21:3,4 say, “With that, I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This shows us how God will put an end to all sickness and death. There are countless other scriptures to comfort us when a loved one dies. I hope these serve as a consolation to you during this difficult time.
