I am so sorry to hear the passing of David. He was a very bright and loved young man. I know he will be dearly missed by those who knew him. I would like to share some encouraging thoughts from God’s word. Ecclesiastes 9:5 tells us that the ones who have died are conscious of nothing at all, so it can be comforting to know that they are not suffering. Acts 24:15 tells us that there will be a resurrection, so we can have the hope to see our loved ones again. Revelation 21:3,4 shows how God will put an end to pain, sickness and death. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 shows us that we can pray to God for comfort. I hope these Scriptures serve as a consolation to you during this difficult time. If you would like to learn more about the rich blessings God will provide in the future you can email me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or you can visit jw.org.

David was the first person Kate met that was her age that also had cancer. Kate had been keeping her diagnosis pretty quiet and it was with David’s encouragement that she started to be more open. This changed her quality of life for the better. We will always be grateful to David and for his compassionate friendship to Kate.
