Charlene Adams

Charlene June Adams (Deane), age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Adams, and two sisters, Sandra Byrne and Maureen Palmer. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Mike and Dorothy Adams, Kathy VerWys (Mike Meyering), Lori and Gary Bolthouse, Kris and Sean Smith; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister and brothers: Judy (Garry) Goodrich, Larry (Bernie) Deane; many nieces and nephews.  She was a longtime active member of the Knights of Columbus #4362 where she was proud to be voted “Family of the Year.”  She loved to read, play bingo, bowl and spend time with her family.  A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or Faith Hospice.
