Blair Lee Dykhouse, age 67, of Pierson, formerly of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2019, and went to be with the Lord. Blair was the owner and operator of Cone World in Grandville for 30 years.  He will be missed by many current and former team members of Cone World for mentoring, camaraderie, and laughs. He was a hunter, golfer, classic car enthusiast, and loved water sports.  He spent much time at the family property on Big Whitefish Lake.   He will be dearly missed by his wife of 47 years, Jane; son, Aaron and Lisa Dykhouse; granddaughters, Addelynn and Janet; mother-in-law, Alice Doornbos; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra Dykhouse, Doug and Judy Doornbos. Blair was preceded in death by his parents, William and Janet Dykhouse; brother, Thomas Dykhouse; and granddaughter, Payge Dykhouse.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, Sept 30, 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Bud Pratt officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday, Sept 29 from 2-5 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Blair's passing. Blair and I worked well together on our reunions for the class of 1971. He was a good and warm friend. Jane and family I am so sorry for your loss. Blair was a wonderful man.
