Bette L. Reneker

Bette L. Reneker, age 86, of Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reneker; son, Brian S. Reneker; 8 sisters; 2 brothers.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cora Manby, Dianna (Rick) Peck, Robin Cymbal, Dr. Robert (Julia) Reneker; grandchildren, Jenna (Marlin) Ivers, Jonathan Manby, Richard (Alicia) Peck, Susanne (Branden Bruursema) Peck, Rob Cymbal, Erica Cymbal, Robert Reneker III, Rebecca Reneker, Kathryn Reneker; great grandchildren, Lacy, Josaphine, Rosalyn; brother, George (Linda) Luckman; special nieces, Jackie (Dick) Melville, Kim (John) Peterson; and many nieces and nephews.  Bette was a charter member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church and the church secretary for many, many years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3152 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Lee Welker officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gethsemane Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.

  5. She will be so missed! What a blessing for the whole Lyons family that she (and Dianna) were able to come to our family Christmas party. Bette and Bob have always been extended members of the Lyons family. Feel so very fortunate to have known her and will always remember that Christmas party. She loved us and we loved her – so much!
