Barb and my mom, Marge Brock, enjoyed a wonderful friendship while living at Sunset. I had the privilege of getting to know her over lunch and as they visited together. Barb was faithful to the end, coming to visit my mom even when it was difficult for her to navigate the long halls. I will always remember them saying they wanted to go to heaven at the same time, but if that wasn't possible, whoever arrived first would be at the pearly gates to welcome the other one. I'm sure they had a wonderful reunion! Blessings to your family as you mourn her loss.

From Linda, l met Barb in the kitchen at St. Paul’s. My daughter Tassia Johnson introduced us during a Vacation Bible School week & I have that picture with me to this day. Every time I came to St Paul’s we had a good talk & I came to love her very much. Bless her soul, may Light Perpetual shine upon her.

I have so many fond memories of Barb. I first knew her as the secretary at Jackson Park. Later I worked for the schools as well. Barb also made a connection for my daughter to learn about OT program at WMU. (That career was pursued.). Barb was always, cheerful and helpful. A blessing to our world.
