Annie Evangelina Ortega

Annie Evangelina Ortega, age 88, of Wyoming, passed away  on Friday, January 31, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; sons, Roger, Randall, Rodney; parents; and five siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Barbara and Neal Wiederhold, Richard and Mary Ortega, Ronald and Cara Ortega, Robert and Mary Ortega, Beverly and Larry Niewenhuis, Bernadette and David Hale, Brenda and Robert Potter, Anthony and Judy Gutierrez, Betty and Devin Ortega-Furgeson, Russel Ortega, Bonnie and Ken Nivens, Ryan and Kendra Ortega, Raymond Ortega, Becky and Scott Helderop, Briget Ortega, Beth and Steve Smith; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Pamela Ortega; brother, Jessie Lopez of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law, Anita Ortega of Pueblo, Colorado; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. John Vallier presiding. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with a vigil at 7:30 pm., as well as one hour prior to Mass at church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Spectrum Hospice.
