Noni, you were the epitome of love and grace. I am so thankful to be your granddaughter and to have been able to spend the time I had with you here. You and Nono sacrificed so much for us, the family-that will never go unappreciated. You always showed me love and always wanted to give (whether it was by feeding me even though I wasn’t hungry or always giving me good advice by telling me to trust God-you never let me leave your home empty handed). You gave love freely with no expectations. You showed me to take care of my heath, to forgive quickly and when in doubt, dance the merengue. And that smile of yours; Nono said it best when he said “She was one of a kind.” I love you so much and I will miss you, but I know your spirit lives within me and our family. Dios te bendiga Noni! GO YANKEES!
