Thomas Favreau

Thomas Sylvester Favreau, age 85, of Wyoming, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Peggy, 8 siblings, and his parents.  He is survived by his children: Jerry Burk, Jim and Fay Favreau, Pam Persons, Pat and George Zellinger, Paula Favreau; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; 4 step-children and their families; many nieces and nephews; close friends: Carl and Judy Cramer, Ed Otten.  He retired after 60 years working for DeYoung and Bagin as part of the International Operating Engineers Local 324.   Tom loved being home, working outside in his yard.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. John Vallier presiding. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with a rosary at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to SJV Church.

    I’m so sorry for your loss, please never forget God cares for you. Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” We have a wonderful hope for the future, here on earth God will bring back to life our loved ones by means of a resurrection.

John 5:28,29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out.” Jehovah God promises us a future here on earth where we can reunite with our loved ones, by means of a resurrection.
