Margaret “Peggy” Miller

Margaret “Peggy” Miller, age 94, of Grand Rapids, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 13, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Deskin “Chuck” Miller, her sons, Bruce Miller, and Craig Miller. She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who treasured her family and friends. Peggy was the former co-owner of Heirloom Estate Services along with her dear friend, Marlene O’Donnell for many years until her retirement. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Deskin “Skip” and Carol Miller, Laura and Gary Moshluk, Rich and Dee Miller; 15 grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews; her special neighbors, Jan and Denny. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks to Julie and all the caregivers at American House and Spectrum Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Peggy during her time there.  At Peggy’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service held at a later date.  In Peggy’s memory, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to a hospice organization of one’s choice.

Skip, Laura and Rich. You are all in our thoughts and prayers with the loss of your "mom". I have known you all for many years back in the "babysitting", neighbor years and the more recent years connecting with her and you boys at estate sales. Her happy personality and friendship will be missed by many. She was a special person. May God wrap his loving arms around you all and give you comfort. Bob & Merrie (Dells) Endres

I am so sorry to hear of Perry's passing. Thankful to have seen the family and many school friends at her estate sale. There are many fond memories of Thanksgiving dinners on Miramar and hound puppies with Chuck and Peg. Mom loved seeing her at estate sales.

With loving thoughts to all the family "across the pond". I adore the memories of dear Aunt Peg, or "Sis" as dad called her. Cheese Days and Easter get-togethers, surprising us at school, I think the building she graduated high school from -then stopping to get a treat from the swiss colony store before walking to gramma's house. "Sis" is happy again, with her family in heaven, and will always be a guiding light to you all. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love to you all. Angie, Chad, Dana, Dillion Moore
