Lady Alice Satterfield

Lady Alice Satterfield, age 86, of Grand Rapids (formerly of Farmington Hills, MI) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Satterfield. Lady will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 65 years, Gene; daughters and grandchildren, Sue Ellen and Steve Birkam (Matt and Hannah Birkam, Fred and Sonya Birkam), Deb Shepard (Raymond and Christy Shepard, Alisha and Steve Vroma); 9 great grandchildren; many other nieces, nephews and family members. Lady was kind, generous and the best “Nannie” ever! A Celebration of Life service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at Lincoln Square Retirement Community in the Community Room, 3121 Lake Michigan Drive NW (Grand Rapids), with Chaplain Steve Bristol officiating. Inurnment Parkview Memorial Cemetery (Livonia, MI). Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grace Hospice.
