Juanita Kosters, age 70, of Grandville passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, after a lifelong battle with illness. Juanita was born June 29,1948, and was raised on a centennial farm in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Juanita’s love of nature and growing up on the farm in Lake Odessa helped define her values as a person: honest, hardworking, generous and loving. Juanita’s hospitality and giving spirit was demonstrated in the way she decorated her home, always had an open invitation to family and friends, and volunteering when she was not able to work. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Laverne and Etheleen Daniels; and sister, Maria Daniels. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Mark; daughter, Vicki Makley; daughter-in-law, Robyn Vandertill; brother, Robert Daniels; brother-in-law, Leszek Gryczyniec; cousin, Megan and Craig LeMarbe and their three children, Olivia, Logan and Gibson; mother-in-law, Shirley Kosters; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lori and Bruce Helmholdt; and brother-in-law, Randy Kosters. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018, in the Memories Room at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW, with long time friend, Peggy Wilkins, officiating the memorial service. Relatives and friends may see the family one hour prior to the service in the Memories Room. Those who wish, may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff and doctors of Spectrum Blodgett floor 4G, for their exemplary and loving care of Juanita during her final weeks.

My sympathy to all of Juanita's family, I did not know her well, however, my sister Norma Carter Stowell and my nieces Peggy & Bonnie were good friends of hers, and I did entertain her for lunch in 2010. She was a super gal and will be greatly missed. Sincerely, Lyn Pingle

Neid - you're the very best next door friend a person could have. I loved growing up with you. Lifelong friends are a blessing. I miss you dearly. Mark, Rob & Leszek, Vicki & Robin - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Neid was one of the very best and along with you I will miss her greatly.
