Jacqueline “Jackie” Steeby

Jacqueline “Jackie” Steeby, age 66, of Caledonia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy South. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Al; sisters, Jo Anne South and Chrystal Isbell. Jackie graduated from Caledonia High School in 1970, Michigan State in 1974, and her masters in Agriculture and Extension Education in 1991. Memorial services will be held on Saturday 11am at Gaines United Brethren Church, 1612 92nd St. SW, Caledonia, with Rev Kelly Burnside officiating.  Interment Hooker Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St., Caledonia.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Caledonia FFA Alumni Chapter or Faith Hospice.

  3. Mr. Steeby so sorry to hear of your loss of Ma Steeby. She was such a blessing to know in my life. I will always cherish all the memories we shared at Aunt Kelly’s farm house and down at the Kent County Youth Fair. She truly left many memories with so many people and helped so many people in her life. She was such a great person to my mom also.
