Franklin D. Jones, age 85, of Grandville, was called to his heavenly home on Friday, January 4 , 2019. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Jones. Frank was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa who cherished his family. His love for others and how he put others before himself was evident to all who knew him. He worked for Mobil Oil for over 30 years as a driver, retiring as a fleet supervisor. Frank faithfully served his Lord at church with his time and talents as an elder, deacon, and in various other ways. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Shirley; his children, Randy and Deb Jones, Terry Jones; grandchildren, Alexander Jones, Lisa and Kyle Kelly, Angela and John Brooks, Tony and Amber Jones; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Dan Jones; sisters, Martha Smith, Mary Thatcher; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with  Rev. Don VanSlyke officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family  from 12-2 pm Monday, prior to the service.

Aunt Shirley, Terry and Randy, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember all the memories we shared with Uncle Frank while Mom (MaryAnnMoore) was at the home for rehab. I'm glad we were able to go see him just a few weeks back.
