Flora “Flo” Windquist, age 91, of Jenison was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; daughter, Wendy Zuidema; parents, David and Jennie Lewis; brothers, Charles Lewis and Tom Lewis; sisters, Joyce Stedman and Virginia Beukema. Flo was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where she served with her time and talents in many ways. She was actively involved with the Holy Cross “Red Hatters” and enjoyed many activities out together. Flo lived at Lincoln Square for the past few years and established many rewarding friendships while there. She is survived by her son-in-law, David Zuidema; granddaughter, Holly Zuidema; brother, David and Nita Lewis; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1481 Baldwin Street, Jenison, with Pastor Jim Eggert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church Foundation.
