Hi Kim! Thank you for all the kind words about my dad, and our family. Dad loved Charlie! He was my dads best friend at work. My dad called all the grandsons in our family “Charlie “, but they had to earn that right, so they did good deeds. When my son was little he named his stuffed dog Charlie. My dad adored that! Dad had nothing but nice things to say about Charlie and his family, They had a special bond! So sorry to hear that Charlie has passed away. I miss my dad so very much already. I know he is cancer free in heaven and reunited with his family, and his best friend. Many prayers for your family as well, Thanks again! Linda Garcia Hockemeyer, Ernies daughter.

Hi Kim. Thank you for all the kind words you shared in dads guest book. My dad said Charlie was his best friend. In fact, the grandsons in our family all were nicknamed “Charlie”. Lol. If you were called Charlie, it was something special! My son named his stuffed animal Charlie when he was little. My son is 27 years old now, and still has that stuffed animal dog named Charlie! My dad loved that Trent, my son, named his stuffed animal that! My dad said you earn the right to be called Charlie. So the kids did good deeds. So nice of you to speak so highly of my dad and the rest of us. My dad always said nice things about Charlie and his family too. Though we were Catholic, dad said if you have religion in your life, that’s all that mattered. Never discriminated against anyone. Dad would say how he missed talking to Charlie at times. So sorry to hear of his passing. Although I don’t remember his face, I forever will remember his name, and fondness my dad had for him. That goes for my whole family. You say Charlie, and it brings a smile to our faces! That made dad happy! Thank you, and may god bless you and your family eternally!

Garcia Family....my dad Charlie Harrison worked with Ernesto years ago. He also would stop at his home when out in the Christian ministry work that Jehovahs Witnesses do. I had the priviledge of meeting him and Mrs. Garcia on some of these occasions. Dad always spoke so highly of your family. He really enjoyed working with Ernesto and being able to call him a friend. Many a fond memory my dad would bring up about Ernesto and would wonder how all of you were doing after he (my dad and mom) moved to Reed City. Dad passed in 2006, so i know and understand the lose you feel at this time. While the pain of losing Ernesto will never get better, it will get easier to deal with. From myself and my mom, love and condolences to you all. Kim

Uncle Tito , u will be very missed by our family. I’m so thankful to hav had the chance to seen and talk to u a couple days before u passed and now know that u r no longer suffering in pain . I will always remember all the times when you would take us on trips to the lake in back of your station wagon with the rest of your family. You were the hardest working family man I have ever known. And it did not matter that u had 9 children to support you always included my mom and the rest of us 5 children on the family gatherings . U will b greatly missed and I will never forget u , love your niece Lisa

I will forever miss you daddy. I love you more than words could ever say. You were always my rock, gave me great life advice. Advice I will use forever. Thank you for being the best role model I could ever ask for. Troy, Trent, Lyza will forever miss you as well. They love you more than words can express. Thank you for always being there for them, and all the beautiful memories they have of the times they spent with you. You went above and beyond giving them your personal time, abundant love, and attention. Thank you for bringing me into this world and always being there unconditionally for me, Troy and the kids, forever grateful having you in our lives. We miss you so very much already, but have comfort knowing you are no longer suffering from cancer. Until we meet again, I love you! Your Daughter, Linda
