Doug and I were good buds from high school and on to many years after,,,we seemed to drift apart though. I was the best man at his wedding. I feel really bad for not keeping in touch. and I learned of his passing just last night. I am sad that I will not be able to see him. But I am happy for all the good memories that I have with him....Bill

Barb, the Song of Farewell, despite bringing emotions to the surface during the time it’s sung, is intended to bring comfort. “May the choirs of angels, Come to great him. May they lead him to paradise. May the Lord enfold him, with His mercy. May he find eternal life.” I can’t imagine words to change how you are feeling. I believe God provides the grace to endure, and faith to sustain you. My prayer is for your entire family to genuinely feel all the generous embraces and messages of sincere sympathy from family and friends. God Bless you
