Dianne Kaye Rose, aged 76 of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home to be in the loving arms of her saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 13, 2019 and is now at peace with Him. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Andrea Kaye Hough. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gerald; children, Jon and Raeleen, Robb and Emilie, Molly and Michael, Brian and Nicole; grandchildren, Dan and Elizabeth, A.J., Sarah and Logan, Ethan, Nate, Felicia, Abby, Mia, Kelsey, Atticus, Dahlia, Odette, D.J., Coley, Jake, Isaac, Hannah, Gianna, Noah, Aiden and Jonathan; sisters, Sharon Cleary, Lorrie Bookbinder; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Dianne was a loving, caring, kind wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her two defining traits were her solid, reverent, love of God and love of family. She had strong convictions and was known to help “train” the priests who came to the parish. She was at church so often that some of the school kids told others she was the lady who owned the church. Dianne was never idle but was always involved in family activities and church groups, Bible study, and implementing the Rosary recitation prior to all weekend masses. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends and became known as the neighborhood cookie lady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Wednesday, October 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:30 pm, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HELP Pregnancy Crisis Aid.

I am so sorry for your loss...Dianne was always so kind to me. I remember she signed a Christmas card with “Keep the Faith!” before she signed your names. May God bless you all and be with you during this difficult time. I know she will be greatly missed. (Andie’s friend, Amy)

She lovingly called me “Slippery Robb”! With that gaze I knew well the intent of Dianne’s greeting of...” “Well here is that Slippery Robb!” She always welcomed this wayward one, who is her grandson’s godfather, with great hospitality and love. Perhaps she knew how much I respected and admired her daughter Andie. Dianne and I shared a passion for our dear Catholic faith and the defense of the unborn that lives on. As President Ronald Reagan said when John Wayne passed away, “America has lost a hero today.” I say “Not only a hero but a warrior of the faith!” The Robb Doc Kovaly Family

Jerry and Family, We were saddened to learn of Dianne's passing. We were blessed to have her in our life and admired and respected her faith, devotion to her family, and the love she gave to our shared grandchildren. She is with Andie now and that gives us comfort and a smile. They are both casting down their golden crowns upon the glassy sea. We had hoped to make it for the funeral however prior doctor appointments could not be postponed. Love to all of you.
