Diane (Jaarda) Klawiter-Brower

Klawiter-Brower (Jaarda), Diane Sue age 77, of Jenison, passed away Saturday August 4, 2018 after a protracted illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudy Klawiter, son Randy, parents Julius and Cornelia and brother Gary Jaarda. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Howard Brower; children Linda (Bruce) Brevitz and Jeff (Deb) Klawiter; step-children Michael (Karen), Mark (Alecia), Chris (Holly); grandchildren Cody, Sarah, Nick, Joe, and Carrie; many step-grandchildren; sister Juliet (John) Maring; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elmer (Marylou) Klawiter, Art Klawiter, Joyce Vander Kolk, Ralph (Jean) Klawiter, Leo (Iva) Klawiter, Wally (Marsena) Klawiter, Judy (Milton) Swainston; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 5:30 to 8 pm and Friday 10 - 11 am. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Harbor Humane Society and/or Crash’s Landing.

So sorry to hear of Diane's passing. 30 years back Diane and I worked in the same department at Meijer - she was a joy to work with. A very nice person. After she left Meijer I would once in a while see her at the thrift store where she worked. What I recall about Diane most was her smile. When she would see me at Meijer or at the Thrift Store she would say my name and have a nice smile that would light up the surrounding area. I can still hear her voice. Even though I did not see her often..............I will miss her. A charming and nice women.
