Alvin Lee Huizinga, age 80, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and Alice Huizinga, John and Ginger Huizinga, David Huizinga, Calvin Huizinga; and his sisters, Beatrice and Willis Kooienga, Bertha and John Van Houten. He is survived by his brothers, Jim and Barb Huizinga, Bob and Linda Huizinga; sister, Judy and Bud DeKorne; sister-in-law, Joan Huizinga; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, 1580 Ferndale SW, Walker, with Rev. David Overway officiating. Interment will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 3:00-3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hope Protestant Reformed Christian School.
