Zoodsma, Leona

ZOODSMA:  Leona A. Zoodsma, age 80, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2012.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanette Proos and Elaine Feenstra and brother, Gerald DeVries. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Donald; children, Nancy (Paul) Van Noort, Ken (Miriam) Zoodsma, Tom (Karen) Zoodsma, Barb Zoodsma, Karen (Ken) DeGraaf; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Gertrude Mieras; brother, Richard DeVries.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Baldwin St. Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Rev. Gerry Van Groningen officiating.  Interment at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Unity Christian High School. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr., as well as 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.

Without Mrs. Zoodsma....I may have never learn to sew (H-4 at Walker Christian School).....she was patient and kind. Thank you!
