Barbara Jean VanDeWege, age 79, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 and is celebrating her heavenly reunion with her parents, James and Minnie VanDeWege. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Rachel Heyboer, James VanDeWege, Virginia Kossen, and Chester VanDeWege. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law, John Kossen; sister-in-law, Jessie VanDeWege; several dear nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Carolyn Norton. A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be held 10:30 am on Friday at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive., with Rev. Kent Rottman officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service on Friday from 9:30-10:30 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Laurels of Hudsonville Activity Fund.
