VANDER WERF:  Lorraine Rose VanderWerf, age 83, of Grandville, passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8, 2011.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin and sisters, Carol VanEerden and Dorothy Baar.  She will lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ruth and Ken TerMolen, Karen and Ed Valk, Laurie and Jeff Dwarshuis; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis and John Baar, brother-in-law, Bill and Jane VanderWerf; nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 11 am on Wednesday at Alger Park Christian Reformed Church, 2655 Eastern Ave. SE, Grand Rapids with Pastor David Deters officiating.  Interment Rest Lawn Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive.  A special thank you to the staff at Rose Garden Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alger Park Christian Education Fund.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com .
