Sharon Dawn Vander Zouwen, aged 74, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 27, 2011 and went to be with her Lord. She was preceded in death by her son, John Mark. Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Bill; her children, Bill and Jan Vander Zouwen, Tom and Jill Vander Zouwen, Bob and Mary Jo Vander Zouwen, Mike and Cheryl Vander Zouwen, Kari and Mark Trumpie; 18 grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy and Ed DeVries, Louise and Chuck Brailey; sister-in-law, Lois and Jack Nyenhuis. Besides her family, her other passions were organ and piano playing and perennial gardening. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Hudsonville Reformed Church, 3950 Highland Dr., Hudsonville with Rev. Donald VanSlyke and Dr. Cecil Martens officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 6-9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive SW (Grandville). Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Cran Hill Ranch.
