Vander Till, Ruth Irene

VANDER TILL – Ruth Irene Vander Till, aged 91 of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orie Vander Till; brother, George Larson; and sister, Josephine Paasch. She is survived by her daughters, Pat (Ken) Heemstra, Arlene (Jeff) Pettinga, Joyce (Dave) Dykstra; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Ruth will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Raybrook Manor Chapel, 2121 Raybrook SE with Pastor George Aupperlee officiating. Interment in Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Members of the family will receive relatives and friends at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Chapel, 4646 Kalamazoo SE Sunday 5-8 pm and Monday from 10:30 am until the time of service at Raybrook. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Patient Assistance Fund at Holland Home.
