Cathie,Jon, Mitch and Kelli and to all of the restof the family. So sorry for your loss. She was a special lady. I thank her for being a great grandma to my children. It is never easy to lose a loved one. Can only hope the rest of us can have 95 years here.
I know she suffered at the end and I am glad she wont have to any more. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Love Kath & Cal Sischo.

Wonderful memories while I was pastor at Wesley Park UMC from 1985 to 1994. Maudy and I send our love in these memory days. Life is good when we meet such wonderful people like Lavon. We will always remember her and her warm spirit. Peace --- Rev. Dr.

I remember spending lunch hours with Cathie visiting Lavon and then putting together puzzles. She loved to have company and enjoyed our visits. I will miss that. I thought of Lavon last night as I pulled out an extra blanket as the evenings are getting
cooler. She crocheted me a beautiful green and white blanket for my bridal shower in 2007. I will think of her every time I use that blanket to keep warm.
