Ritsema, Audrey
RITSEMA: Audrey Ritsema, age 92, of Jenison, was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday, June 9, 2011, and now joins her husband, George who preceded her in 2010. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ronald and Jo Ritsema, David and Marla Ritsema, Kathy and Rev. David Weemhoff, Rev. Ken and Gayle Ritsema; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lena Nelson; and special friend, Rosa. Audrey was a supportive wife and mother who exhibited a determined spirit and was a quiet woman of faith. Audrey enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and doing puzzles. She was a longtime member at Roosevelt Park Christian Reformed Church (Grandville Ave. CRC). Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 am in the chapel at Sunset Manor, 725 Baldwin, Jenison, with Rev. Ken Ritsema and Rev. David Weemhoff officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish to, may make memorial contributions to Sunset Manor. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr., as well as one hour prior to the service on Monday from 9:30-10:30 am at Sunset Manor.
