Ramon Diaz

                                                                                                    

DIAZ:  Ramon Diaz, age 91, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on New Year’s Eve morning, Saturday, December 31, 2011.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Ramon Diaz, Carmen and Dave VandenBerg, Maria and Jim Martone; grandchildren, Ramon (Kelsey), Joseph, Kristina, Eduardo and Marcos Diaz, Andrew and Christopher VandenBerg; Sofia, Carina and Bianca Martone; great granddaughter, Brooklyn.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr., with Rev. Don Van Slyke officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Tender Care, Wyoming for their loving and compassionate care shown to Ramon over the past 4 years.Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Great Lakes Hospice.

Deepest Sympathy from Jo Velding and family. My mother was at Tendercare for some time and Ramon sat at her table. Always said the 's before everymeal. Rest in Peace Ramon.
