PEARSON-JoAnn Pearson, aged 71 of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 2, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, sister, Edith, brothers-in-law, Elmer, Raymond, Lester and Robert. Surviving are her children, Robert and Terri Pearson, Charles and Chasity Pearson, four grandchildren, Bradley, Jennifer, Christena, Gregory; sister and brother, Barb and Sam Pearson, Don and Elaine Bradley, sisters-in-law, Jackie Pearson, Patricia Pearson, Bernie Pearson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Jo will be held 11am Monday at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 2-4 & 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.Guestbook

I am thinking of you during this sad time and also remembering JoAnn and how she could brighten up a person's day at school (Ridgemoor Park) and always elicited a chuckle with her good natured comments! I am sorry I was not able to attend the visitation
