Paul Henry Scherer

SCHERER-Paul Henry Scherer, aged 72 of Wyoming, formerly of Detroit, passed away, Tuesday, November 22, 2011. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Scherer. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Lucy; his children, LeRoy (Claudette) Scherer, Larry (Maria) Scherer, Laura Scherer, Steve (Kelli) Scherer; four grandchildren, Paul, Kelly, Dylan, Jadyn; brother, Chester (Esther) Scherer; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 6:30pm Wednesday at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3152 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Rev. Lee Welker officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Lucy, Steve, and Kelli: I was shocked to open the paper this morning and read of Pauls passing! The memory of working with you (Lucy) and Paul is so fresh in my mind. I only knew Paul for a short time, but he was a very cordial, warm, and easy going fellow
whom I enjoyed talking with. My most sincere condolences to you and your family.
