Parmeter, Jean Mildred

PARMETER: Jean Mildred Parmeter, age 82, of Kentwood went to be with her Lord on June 17, 2011.  She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Loren; son, Donny; parents, Howard and Susan Simpson; 2 sisters. She will be greatly missed by her children, Sharon and Clayton VanAmburgh, Pamela and Robert Alma, Loren and Kathy Parmeter, Keith and Katherine Parmeter, Susan and John Cross, Cindy and James Staeven, Julie and Jerry Smith; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward and Mary Simpson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 11:00 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Kentwood),4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, 12-3 and 6-9 pm; also one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses.
